Brazil

Brazilian lawmakers have formed a congressional caucus to advocate for the oil and gas industry, especially Petrobras' offshore exploration near the Amazon, Reuters reports.

Colombia

Venezuela

The U.S. temporarily lifted sanctions on Venezuela's oil sector after a governmental agreement, potentially allowing a 25% increase in the country's crude oil production, which may also ease global oil supply constraints, Oilprice reports.
